This website, chiitanusa.com (the "Site"), including the store at chiitanusa.com/store, is operated by Chiitan USA LLC ("we," "us"), the exclusive licensed agent for the Chiitan☆ character in the United States. Questions about this policy: info@chiitanusa.com.
What We Collect
Newsletter: if you sign up, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. Store purchases: when you place an order we collect your name, email, shipping address, and order details. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. Like most websites, our servers also keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
How We Use It
To send the newsletter you asked for, to fulfill and ship your orders, to respond to inquiries, to keep transaction records we are legally and contractually required to keep, and to protect the Site from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Who We Share It With
Only service providers needed to run the Site: Mailchimp (newsletter delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Printful (printing and shipping your order, which requires your name and shipping address), and our web hosting provider, and Google (analytics). Each processes your data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and Analytics
The store uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart and login session. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us. You can block cookies in your browser (the store's cart will not function without them) or opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your Choices
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@chiitanusa.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
Children
The Site is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
